Our verdict
PlotToFilm says it is an AI filmmaking studio: paste a script or idea and it breaks it into scenes and shots, builds storyboard frames from pinned character and visual references, then generates video clips and assembles them into an MP4. Every generation needs a credit quote you approve, and you approve still images before spending credits on video. Its privacy page says your prompts and references go to third-party providers (OpenAI, DeepSeek, or Kie and the models behind it), so output quality appears to depend on those underlying models. We could not see any generated output: the site labels its template covers 'illustrative cover art, not generated video previews', its free shot-list tool says free custom planning is currently unavailable, and there is no free plan. Treat it as unproven until you have tested it with a small pay-as-you-go credit pack.
You want to pilot a short narrative or ad video from a script, and you are happy to spend $20 on a one-time credit pack to test character consistency before subscribing.
You want to see proven output or a free trial first, you need guaranteed character or voice consistency, or you cannot send unpublished scripts and reference images to third-party AI providers.
Pricing: As of 20 Oct 2026: Pay as you go $20 per 1,000 credits (one-time, no membership needed). Creator $29/month (2,000 monthly credits). Studio $79/month (6,000). Production $199/month (16,000). Members top up at $15 per 1,000 credits. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing period; purchased top-up credits stay after membership ends. The vendor says credits are not a fixed number of finished films: cost depends on model, duration, candidates and retries. No free plan; the free shot-list tool says free custom planning is currently unavailable. Payments are handled by Square. Check site.
